 Meaning: to understand the mood or situation before speaking or acting

معنی: فضا رو سنجیدن / جوّ رو در نظر گرفتن

مثال:

He started joking, but clearly didn’t read the room.
شروع کرد به شوخی، ولی اصلاً جوّ رو نسنجیده بود.

Cut corners

Meaning: to do something in the easiest or cheapest way (often with bad quality)

 معنی: سرِ هم‌ بندی کردن / میان‌بر زدن / کم‌کاری کردن

مثال:

If you cut corners, the final result won’t be good.
اگه کم کاری کنی، نتیجه نهایی خوب درنمیاد.
