Allude / Elude

To talk around something, give hints, not to state somebody or something directly
Allude = اشاره ضمنی کردن/ گریز زدن به

For example:
Rick did not want to discuss his past, though he alluded darkly to ‘some bad things that happened’

Elude = طفره رفتن، اجتناب کردن، فرار کردن (به شیوه ای ماهرانه)
