I wish/If only + Past perfect

I wish I had come to your party
ای کاش به میهمانی تو آمده بودم

I wish I had worked harder
ای کاش بیشتر کار کرده بودم

If only I hadn’t eaten so much
چی می شد اگه زیاد نخورده بودم

If only I had driven more carefully
چی می شد اگر با احتیاط بیشتری رانندگی کرده بودم

ابراز پشیمانی با استفاده از ساختار
I should have (not) + Past Participle

I should have come to your party
باید به میهمانی تو آمده بودم

I should have worked harder
باید بیشتر کار کرده بودم

I should haven’t eaten so much
نباید زیاد خورده بودم(می‌خوردم)

I should have driven more carefully
باید با احتیاط بیشتری رانندگی کرده بودم

ابراز پشیمانی با استفاده از ساختار
I regret +Noun/V+ing

I regret not coming to your party
از نیامدن به میهمانی تو پشیمانم

I regret not working harder
از کار نکردن زیاد پشیمانم

I regret eating so much
از خوردن زیاد پشیمانم

I regret leaving you alone
از تنها گذاشتن تو پشیمانم

I regret the things I didn’t do when I had the chance
از انجام ندادن کارهایی که شانسش را داشتم و انجام ندادم پشیمانم
